Filtering options

A series of information filters that will allow you to shorten the search field and find that profile or content more easily.

Through your Discover, it is almost impossible not to find what you are looking for on Oshinstar. However, that person or company may not have a profile in the community or may simply have chosen not to appear in the search results, which in itself will make them impossible to find.

Order by

You can sort and filter the results according to user attributes.

A filtering system designed to make your search easier to perform. You can select one of the following options:

Most popular
Newest
Most active
Oshinstar select
Avatar first
Nearby

Narrow down the results quickly by selecting the option that best suits your needs.

Location

Use the location filter to help refine your search quickly.

The filters that Oshinstar provides conveniently shorten the list of results so that you can more easily get in touch with that profile you are interested in.

There are several ways to narrow your search by location. You can select one of the following options:

Nearby
Country
Global

With this option you will reach people based on where you want them to go, such as region, country, or if you prefer, globally.

Gender (only for people)

You can filter the results based on the gender of the community users.

By using information filters you will be able to quickly find that person, using the information they have included in their profile on Oshinstar.

You can select one of the following options:

Any
Man
Woman

Age (only for people)

You can filter the results based on the age of the community users. You can select the age range by sliding and setting a minimum age (13) and maximum age (up to 75).

Once you have set an age range, you can apply the filter to get the updated result.

Narrow down the results quickly by selecting the option that best suits your needs.

Skills

You can filter the results based on one or more enabled Skills of the interested profile.

When filtering by Skills, it will be enough to have only one condition available in order not to be excluded from the result.

The Skills included in the filter must correspond to the Category added earlier in the search.

In case of an Individual or Business account, the search engine will only take into account the skills enabled in your Profile Card.

Advanced details

You can filter the results based on the Details added to the interested profile.

When filtering by Details, the filter will show you all the results that have the conditions or details added.

Industries & Categories

You can filter all Oshinstar content by Industry, Category and skills set at the time of uploading to the profile.

You can select three Categories from the following 8 Industries:

Beauty and fashion
Music, Dance & Ent…
Film, T.V. & Radio
Sports & Recreations
Other Arts
Foods & Drinks
Education
Business & Technology

When filtering by Categories, the tool will only call those profiles or contents that specifically meet each of the conditions added.

In order to enable this option, you must select the type of account (Individual or Business).

Busines Types (only for Business)

You can filter the results based on the type of business they have established.

When filtering by Business Type, the filter will show you all the companies that meet this condition.

In order to enable this filter, you must select at least one Category.

This option can only be enabled for business accounts.

Uploaded date (Only for content)

By filtering by upload date you can conveniently shorten the list of results. You can specifically display the uploaded content in the added date range.

You can select one of the following options:

Last hour
Today
This week
This month
This year
Any upload date

This option is only enabled for Oshinstar content.

Duration (only for video and track)

By filtering by Duration, you can conveniently shorten the list of results. You can specifically display content with the added duration range.

You can select one of the following options:

Short (< 4 minutes)
Long (< 20 minutes)
Any

This option is only enabled for Oshinstar content.

Content type (Only for content)

By filtering by content type, you can conveniently shorten the list of results. You can display specifically the selected content type or all of them.

You can select one of the following options:

Only music
Only audio
All content

This option is only enabled for Oshinstar content.

Musical genre (only for video and track)

By filtering by music genre, you can conveniently shorten the list of results. The filter will only call up tracks that have this condition.

When entering, you should search for the genre of interest and select Search.

This option is only enabled for Oshinstar Tracks.

Account type (Only for content)

Start your search by specifying the type of account you wish to search for. You can select one of the following options:

Any
Personal
Business

Select the option of interest for a more specific and faster result.

This option is only enabled for Oshinstar content.

Language preferences

This is an excellent tool for when you want to search for a profile or content with a specific language.

You can select up to three languages from the suggested languages and all the languages available in Oshinstar. You have more than 100 languages to choose from.

Likewise, you will have a search engine enabled where you will be able to find the language you are looking for more quickly.

Rating (only for video)

An excellent option for when you want to apply a restriction filter to your video search. Excluding or including content not suitable for all audiences.

You can select one of the following options:

All audiences
Mature only

This option is only enabled for Oshinstar videos.

Spoken languages

This is an excellent tool for when you want to search for a profile with a certain specific language.

You can select up to three languages from the suggested languages and all the languages available in Oshinstar. You have more than 100 languages to choose from.

Likewise, you will have a search engine enabled where you will be able to find the language you are looking for faster.

Avatar

Not only skills count when searching for a profile. This is an option you can use to attract those profiles considering their avatar image. You can select one of the following options:

Anyone
Avatar only
No avatar

The main reason to have a good profile picture is credibility. A well thought out avatar shows that the account is professional, trustworthy and credible.

Verified Profiles

This option is designed to attract or exclude those profiles taking into consideration the account verification. You can select one of the following options:

Any
Verified profile only
Not verified

Verified accounts get a better presence on social networks. Confirming the authenticity of your account is linked to the integrity of your profile. It also gives more credibility and generates more interest in your account.
